2 C Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 C Sugar
2 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 C Shortening
2/3 C Water
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
2. Use your fingers to rub in butter.
3. Add water gradually to achieve a slightly stiff dough.
4. Spread dough evenly into a greased 8×8 pan. Insert a fork into the dough and allow to stand for 10 – 15 minutes.
5. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
