EDITORIAL: Who knew of the suffering of Haitians stuck in Mexico?

July 15, 2022

Will the sufferings and plight of the Haitian people ever stop? I pray that it does, because none of God’s children deserves to suffer the way the Haitian people are right now in this time of their country’s history- from earthquakes to poverty to war and murders to abuse at home and abroad.

The latest in this cycle of perversions is the abuse and rape of Haitian women in Mexico as they wait to make their way to the Mexico/Texas border so they can enter the United States. It’s not as if they indignity of the horse back round up in Texas at the end of 2021 was not bad enough, but women are being raped as they wait on the Mexico side to risk the indignity waiting for them on the Texas side of the border.

But I see God in all of this. You see, Haiti made Vodou as an official religion in 2003 and things got worse for them after that as it was not bad before that. You can snicker and jibe all you want, but a nation that neglects the Almighty God will face ruin. Let this be a lesson to all of us.

I see similarities in this with what is happening in the United States too. Remember when they removed prayer out of the schools? We do. Since that decision their babies have been under attack in the school yard- well beyond just bullying, but their babies are being murdered and shot dead as they cower from a crazed gunman. Their children are being assaulted with adult themes like homosexuality and transgenderism and non-binary adulthood when they should be thinking about the natural order of biology, family life and friendship between one another.

I also remember when the US Supreme Court found it unconstitutional to have the Ten Commandments outside of a US Courthouse.

Don’t let the devil confuse you with the will of the crowd. Worst off, don’t mind the shrieking and wailing of the people that find the mention of God and his word unpalatable. Demons are supposed to shriek, cry and wail at the sound of the name of Jesus let alone the power of the Almighty God. But God’s word remains true.

While we pray for the Haitians, let us also remember on what platform we stand.
