We had a great year sharing our news and views with you. It was by the grace of God we kept the page going and kept people engaged with our stories and our events/initiatives. We thank all of you who participated in any way, shape or form this year and we look forward to doing more with you again in 2023.
We have some great things lined up again for 2023 and with God’s grace and power, it will get done. We won’t worry. We have seen him do it.
We will end the short story competition in January, as we have said. We will also, SERIOUSLY THIS TIME, start the photo-contest. The entry fee won’t be high, we just want to see good photos. Help us to build this brand for us. So, after the short story contest comes to an end and before the poetry contest starts and the TropicSpin music and song competition starts kicks off again in July, we will do the photo contest. We have the judges lined up, we just have to get the flier done and set the dates.
But back to the news. There ain’t much that will probably change in 2023. The region will most likely still be plagued by moderate inflation, but not as high as it was this year. Thanks to the US Federal Reserve raising interest rates by.50bps. While this may hurt tourism arrivals, but will put an ease on the price of goods in the store, which is out of control now.
We had a good year of rebound from COVID-19 regardless. So the inflation came as a part of it, to that we will still give thanks for it. It was good pain. J
We pray for those we lost this year, however, and we wish blessings and peace on all of you still here with us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We will see you, God willing, on January 6, 2023.
Mr. Kemp, I want to thank all the support you have given us this year 2022, as well as CARIBBEAN MAGAZINE PLUS and its parent company ARAWAK MEDIA. I wish you a happy Christmas season and a happy and prosperous New Year 2023. Blessings from God and much SUCCESS in all your projects. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023!
