Venezuela is slowly easing back into America’s good graces, which is not a bad thing. But it simply was a waste of time by its president Nicholas Maduro, who thought his bravado would have gotten anything other than disruption to his beautiful country.
The US “allowing” Trinidad and Tobago to work with Venezuela on a gas pipeline that would benefit the Caribbean is nothing more than laughable. Why would a sovereign state in T&T *rolls eyes* have to get permission from America to work with its neighbour in Venezuela?
Truth be told, they had better had gotten approval for even wading on a Venezuelan beach for vacation, much more organising a natural gas arrangement to benefit the Caribbean. Maduro thought that his bravado would cause many a Caribbean country to join his bandwagon and snub their noses and insult America. This was a foolhardy approach. Not only are Caribbean leaders conservative, but they are not that stupid. Some act stupid, but they are not completely idiotic.
More importantly, the Biden administration has softened Americas tone towards Maduro, which is the adult thing to do. It’s not like they can kill him…. Well, lol… We must work with all of the people in the America’s from Canada all the way down to Argentina and all of us in between.
Hopefully this can be a real turning point for Venezuela and its people can stop leaving the country in droves due to the mismanagement by the Maduro regime.
