This January 2024 has to be the longest we have ever experienced. It seems as if we are on week 17, with five more weeks to go. LOL… When will this January come to an end?
I know for people who have not been paid for the end of the month yet, so they are probably at their wits end waiting for that little cheque to hit their bank account.
Even the news is dead. There is little to nothing happening in the region worthy of even a minor follow up. It happens like that from time to time. There are still wars raging worldwide. We have the Israeli bombardment of Gaza, its own country for all intents and purposes. How long will this continue is not certain, but there are calls from major international entities for Israel to stop the bombing and for them to allow a separate Palestinian state.
There is also the war still raging in the Ukraine. Russia clearly has no end game for this. They thought it was going to be a quick smash and grab and the Ukraine would just topple over. But no, the West has fortified them to an extent where that notion seemed to be utter folly on Vladimir Putin’s behalf.
Now, here is the kicker, there was an attack on Iran on January 3 that the United States had warned Iran about, but they did nothing about it. Funny how America has to be the bigger entity in all of this?
