Caribbean Airlines launches new route to Puerto Rico

Caribbean Airlines (CAL) has announced its plans to introduce a new route to Puerto Rico, with a stopover in Barbados, starting July 14, 2024. 

Pending the necessary approvals, this move marks a significant expansion for the airline, bolstering its presence in the Caribbean airspace.

In a recent statement released on May 1, CAL clarified that the commencement of this new service is contingent upon approvals from the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority (TTCAA) and the Government of Barbados.

Once greenlit, this route promises to open up exciting travel opportunities for passengers in the region.

Prospective travelers can start planning their journeys as tickets for this anticipated route will be available for purchase from May 2.

Options for booking include CAL’s website, Reservations Sales Call Centre, Ticket Offices, and affiliated Travel Agents.
