EDITORIAL: Why are we still talking about Donald Trump?

It just baffles me how the American media is still fixated on what former president Donald Trump is doing. This is what we mean when we say the media is not being helpful in times of crisis, as it is all about the ratings and nothing else.

You see, Trump is still hot and sensational news. Not so much the current president, Joe Biden, his policies or anything to do with this COVID-19 vaccine. Trump steals headlines and why is that, no one knows?

But the America media needs to be a little more responsible in sharing other information about what’s going on and not only in America, but around the world as this COVID-19 strain has a South African variant that has already spread to the US.

We in the Caribbean and Central American region needed to know about that the day it happened and not about a vanquished president in Donald Trump who was ineffectual even before he was defeated as his last days were marred with a collapsed office with no support staff.

Can we just now turn the page from Mr Trump and focus on some other matters? Or does America need another 9-11 wakeup call for it to get serious again and stop this political foolishness?!

We hope that it doesn’t come to that and the media can help guide this current Biden administration into the important things about life and the world. And it certainly isn’t towards Donald Trump.

  1. I am so tired of all the trump stuff
He is done and he is yesterday
He will not going to run again it’s not worth his time
Pence will be the next nominee
