Turkey Lasagna Done Right

1 Package Instant Lasagna Noodles

1 Onion (chopped)

3 Small mushrooms (finely chopped)

2 Stalks Celery (chopped)

1/2 Tsp. Garlic (minced)

1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

3 ofC Cooked, Ground Turkey (drained)

1C Cooked and Chopped Broccoli

2 Tbsp. Butter

1/4 C All – Purpose Flour

1 1/2 C Milk

1 C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Salt & Ground Black Pepper to taste

Directions:

Saute onions, garlic, mushrooms and celery in a medium pan until soft and tender.

Melt the butter in a medium sauce pan.  Remove from heat; add flour, salt and ground black pepper – blend well.  On low heat, whisk in milk and allow to cook unti; sauce is thick.

Place a thin layer of sauce in a casserole dish; followed by a layer of noodles.  Next, place s layer of the turkey mixture, followed by sauce and 1/2 C mozzarella cheese.  Repeat the process of layering and top with the remaining 1/2 C shredded mozzarella.

In a pre-heated 350° oven; bake for 45 – 60 minutes or until cheese bubbles.  Let cool 10 – 15 minutes before serving.
