1 Box Spaghetti Pasta
1 1/2 lb Ground Turkey
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Salt
1 Jar Tomato Sauce
1/2 C Cherry Tomatoes
1 Whole Onion (diced)
1/2 Green Pepper (chopped)
1/2 C Mushrooms (chopped)
1/4 Scotch Bonnet Pepper
1 1/2 C Spinach (chopped)
Directions:
Add ground turkey to a heated medium cast iron pan; season with salt and pepper and cook until meat has browned.
In a large pot, allow water to come to a rolling boil; add salt and cook – following directions on packaging. Drain and **set salted water aside**.
Cook mushrooms, onions and green peppers in a separate pan over medium heat, until tender. Reduce to low heat. Stir in tomato sauce and allow to simmer for five minutes. Add in cherry tomatoes, scotch bonnet pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Cover pan and allow tomatoes to cook down – adding a little PASTA water if necessary. Add spinach and ground turkey…simmer until spinach is cooked fully and sauce has thickened. Remove from heat.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over finished plate.
**Add a little water to pasta if too dry**
ENJOY!!
