I know all of you are waiting for the results to be announced for the inaugural Caribbean Magazine Plus Poetry Contest, 2021 as much as we are. Unfortunately the announcement and award ceremony will be delayed for about another month until the third week in October, 2021.
Due to the overwhelming amount of entrants it is taking a bit longer than we had anticipated to assess them all. So, as a result, and in order to be fair to all of the paid entrants, we must postpone the award ceremony and notifications until the third week in October.
Poor Kwame and our small team are overwhelmed by the people that entered and we must be fair to all of them. We must give proper feedback or else it would have been a wasted effort for the artist and for us.
So, be patient with us as we do our best to complete this task. If you may not know this is our inaugural poetry contest, so we are making sure we do things right by our followers and the entrants.
We cannot and will not launch our short-story competition until the winners of the poetry contest have been selected, notified and paid their prize money.
