A’Legends clothing line ripped the runway during the 2023 staging of New York Fashion Week. CEO Jenelle Alexia showcased her latest designs at the Dahsar Fashion Week Show on Sunday, September 10 in Manhattan, saving the best for last.
The fashion mogul is ecstatic over the success of the show as several celebrity models strutted the runway in a collection she describes as red carpet ready. This comes after receiving rave reviews about a piece she designed exclusively for Dancehall artiste, Vershon, at the inaugural Caribbean Music Awards ceremony in Brooklyn the previous weekend. Jenelle Alexia describes the fit as “clean, neat with a dash of luxury” and costing almost half a million Jamaican dollars recently in the Jamaica Star.
A’Legends had 22 models (9 males, 13 females) brandishing 18 looks which included Sig White, Aaron Tread, Brianna, Honey Bear and Devonte Lodge, among others. Jenelle Alexia is eternally grateful for the opportunity and support she got Dahsar and his glam squad.
Best believe this won’t be the last time anyone will be hearing from Jenelle Alexia as she embarks on a different journey in music production. She is set to release a rhythm compilation under her newly founded label, A’Legends Production. Jenelle Alexia is also gearing up to publish her third book, which will be her second children’s book in the Keira series.
“When I’m not designing, I’m being a mother as well as attending award shows, red carpet events and working in the lab, drawing not only blood but drafting new children’s book ideas and finding new ways to expose my brand!” – Jenelle Alexia
