The US Coast Guard seized $186m in cocaine from the Caribbean seas. No doubt that such a haul is going to raise the ire of the drug cartel from where it came. No doubt, there was special intelligence that tipped off the Coast Guard to the shipment, which means someone that the drug cartel thought they had on the inside either turned against them or they are loose with their protocols.
All of that means that someone probably has to die. Someone high up the chain, because there is no way $186m in drugs is moved through channels without the knowledge of a top official, or several of them. Also, $186m is not a small bit of money either, people are going to miss that.
We thank the US Coast Guard for doing their work on the high seas. It is treacherous work.
Meanwhile, we have a tropical storm, Bret, working its way up the Lesser Antilles. It is moving at approximately 60 mph now and expected to be a Category 1 Hurricane by tomorrow afternoon.
We want people to be able to prepare properly and be vigilant. These hurricanes are becoming more and more violent as the atmosphere continues to warm up. We cannot forget Hurricane Maria, Irma and Dorian.
Stay safe people.
