The only way to deal with a strong-man dictator is to put a cold stop to him. Such is what is needed for Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro. He needs to be put to a cold stop.
A quick glance at his behaviour over the last several years, leading up to this last election, you can understand that men at that level of power and pathology can go out no other way than to be dragged out of power. Their power begins to justify itself and them doing what they feel is right-in their warped mind- to keep power.
Maduro never gave the thought of transferring power after a free and fair election. Not only did he never give a thought about getting less votes than his opponent, he already knew that if that came to be a situation, he was not giving up power anyway because what he has to do is too important to hand it over to someone who actually won the election.
This pathology goes beyond being criminally insane, that would be too easy. This is purely about a man in his own mind apportioning to himself God-like status and thinking he can do what he wants because only he can do what needs to be done.
History has been littered with individuals just like Maduro who thought they were bigger than life itself. They must be dragged out of office, sadly. We pray for Venezuela.
