EDITORIAL: The 2022 CMP Poetry Contest is now closed!

August 23, 2022

The Caribbean Magazine Plus 2022 Poetry Contest is now closed. We thank all of those that entered the contest and shared the flier in their social media circles so we can get the word out. We have quite a few entries this year. We have significantly more entries from the Spanish speaking countries this year too as well as some countries in the Caribbean that have not entered before. We wish them all the best with our judges.

The same goes with the first contest in that we will evaluate over a month or so and then come back to the public with our top three finishers. Then we will have a small virtual ceremony and talk to the winners. We can’t wait to meet the winners as well.

WE also have to note as well this year we have more paid to unpaid entries this year too. This means that people are not wasting our server space trying to enter when they should paying to enter. We appreciate their interest, but it would not be fair to the paid and serious artists who want to put their money where their mouth is and try their hand.

Once again, good luck to all of the entrants, but only one can win and three to place for prizes.

Once again, thank you for participating this year. One Love!
