With the introduction of Orca’s and Greenland sharks to the Caribbean marks another turn in our environmental fight. A fight foisted upon the region by forces unknown. It’s easy to say it’s a climate change issue, but is it really?
We need answers to this. Hopefully some resourceful marine scientists can explain to us why cold water marine life and swimming their way to the Caribbean waters. We sure would like to know.
The sightings of these animals where they were seen in the Caribbean would be as rare as Columbus seeing Anglo-Saxons in the New Wold at his first voyage in 1492. It just could not happen.
Now you have an idea on how rare and how shocking it was to see these two animals where they were sighted in Belize and The Bahamas, respectively.
Meanwhile, while they are coming in like tourists to the Caribbean seas, we have earthquakes registering on a daily basis. Scientists have said that these earthquakes are a normal thing and happen quite frequently in the Caribbean, but they never stop to shock people to their core with the notion that the earth could open up and swallow them.
We believe the scientists at the University of the West Indies. They have no reason to life and every reason to tell the truth about what’s going on with the tectonic plates in the Caribbean.
All we have to do is just cool it down and just continue to be vigilant.
