US President Donald Trump started work immediately after his inauguration by signing a flurry of executive orders, some of which will roll back Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies of the Biden era, in addition to an executive order that says there will only be two genders, male and female.
Some on the left are a bit upset by it all, but you can’t always have it your way. We have a new president and he is taking action on day one.
What will happen to the Caribbean in all of this, is anybody’s guess. We hope the threatened Trump tariffs don’t cause us to starve to death or make goods more expensive for us. We certainly don’t need that.
But we are watching the Trump presidency with great interest. We believe he will make significant change to the way the world works.
The left went too far, there was no more restraint with regard to their insane policies of gender pronouns and men competing in women’s sports. America will look back on this era with great shame.
How did it get this far, is beyond me, but we hope that American returns to sanity.
