Dear followers and friends, we have decided to extend the short story contest deadline until next month, February 15.
There was an issue for nearly a month with our payment gateway where people could not process their cards. That was unfair to them because there are quite a few that either gave up or told their friends to give up. But we got it sorted out, it was a minor problem with our bank that we got rectified. So please there is still time to enter the CMP Short Story Contest.
Don’t feel like you are inadequate or that your story needs more work. Push it to the finish line and send it to us.
With house keeping matters out of the way, let us focus on some international news for a second. Omicron is raging across the US and Europe. Thank God it is not as dangerous as the Delta or standard COVID-19 variants but it is easier to catch.
Let’s hope that out of the Omicron we may reach the herd immunity we all so covet, because it seems that by the time Omicron has had its way everyone would have had COVID-19 at least once.
