Yes. You read it right. This magazine is straddling the fence for the upcoming US presidential elections this coming November. Here’s why.
We love Kamala Harris. Her Caribbean roots is the main and possibly only reason why. We want to see someone even remotely connected to us in these islands do well. She brings so much hope to so many people of Caribbean descent until she doesn’t even know how much she has inspired the average, every day man and woman in the region. She has done well for herself and her father, who is still very much alive in Jamaica, should be very proud of her.
But, let us get really, really serious here. She is clearly not up for the task of today’s global problems. Anyone who ducks and hides from media interviews, to only show up to one with a “handler” in that of her vice presidential candidate, does not give a good look.
To be honest, Donald Trump is the only rational choice for president of the USA. Americans will speak and when it comes down to brass tacks, Trump is by far the best option for America and the world at this time.
Regardless of how they tried to convict him on Trumped up (pardon the pun) charges, he is still shining bright like a diamond and since he was nearly assassinated, he has grown even more popular.
This race is pretty much over, as far as we are concerned.
