Montego Bay has topped a global ranking of best recovering destinations published by media publishing and events giant World Travel Market.
The World Travel Market forecasting report says that summer travel recovery at city level is being led by Caribbean destinations namely Montego Bay, with bookings to Montego Bay 23 per cent up year-on-year.
The research, undertaken by Forward Keys, shows that Jamaica’s rapid recovery exceeds levels in other locations as diverse as Delhi, Athens, Orlando and Paris. In the table, Punta Cana is ranked second with a 19 per cent recovery and Cancun is ranked third with 14 per cent recovery.
